Andalucia: Part 3

We took the narrow, coiling mountain pass from Zahara to Grazelema.  The weather went from sunny to stormy as we ascended and at the bottom of the mountain we found ourselves in a rather surprising springtime hailstorm.

After looking over the bird-guides at our hotel and chatting with the one other guest, a serious bird-watcher, I was excited about seeing some local birds.  We saw a number of very beautiful birds, and on our last day in Spain as we drove away from Cartajima we spotted 3 brilliant little Bee Eaters!
