Baby Raven

Got to see baby Raven awake for the first time this Saturday and, wow, look at those eyes!  She was a great sport through props and prodding and multiple outfit changes, then fell asleep just in time for the end of the shoot.

The Wharfs in Monterey

Point Lobos State Reserve

We did the Cypress Grove Trail for our first spotting of otters at a distance, just a teaser for things to come!  Point Lobos is definitely on my list to come back to; you could easily spend an entire day here.

On Safari in Elkhorn Slough

I love otters, obviously.  Which is why our private Safari boat through Elkhorn Slough was the perfect birthday adventure to close out the weekend.

Birthday Weekend

Spent an amazing 30TH Birthday weekend with my besties, kicking it at a luxe airbnb mansion in Watsonville with a killer view of Elkhorn Slough.

It was the perfect home base for adventures like hiking Point Lobos, boating Elkhorn Slough, and clambering around on the wharfs of Monterey.
